Falcon Electric Introduces New 4.5kVA FN2 Online UPS

Expands Rackmount and Tower 6 to 10kVA UPS Product Line for IT Networks

 

IRWINDALE, Calif. – May 19, 2021 – Falcon Electric, Inc., a leading manufacturer of award-winning, online Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs), announces a new 4.5 rackmount and tower FN2 Online UPS model.  The FN2 Online UPS family is a complete line of advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology UPS in 4.5, 6, 8 and 10kVA ratings with scalability to 40kVA and N+1 capability to 30kVA.

The new 4.5kVA model features a battery runtime of 26 minutes at 50% load and 9.5 minutes at full load.  Users can also easily add extended battery banks for minutes to many hours of battery runtime.

All FN2 models are feature-rich, with many cost-saving benefits for users in all applications, including:

  • Unity power factor that saves energy costs and floor space since there is no need to oversize the UPS
  • Versatile options, like a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with or without a Maintenance Bypass Switch (MBS)
  • 5-year rated (at 25°C/77°F), hot-swappable batteries that reduce battery replacements
  • Advanced communications, including an optional SNMP/HTTP agent board

The 4.5kVA FN2 Online UPS is available now.  Like all FN2 models, it is UL 1778 and cUL listed and meets CE and FCC Class A requirements.
