Engineering Judges Select Falcon Electric Third Year in a Row

 

IRWINDALE, Calif. – April 12, 2018 – Falcon Electric, Inc.,  a leader in online UPS and backup of mission-critical applications, announces that its SSG Industrial UPS models with LiFePO4 battery has won Finalist in the 2018 Product of the Year award competition by the judges of Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) magazine.

Placing in the Emergency, On-site Standby Power category, the award-winning 1.5 to 6kVA rackmount SSG Industrial UPS with a long-life, lightweight LiFePO4 battery gives users a safer and more cost-effective battery backup solution.

During the evaluation process of the SSG UPS, the CSE judges were impressed with the incorporation of the latest in LiFePO4 battery technology that offers a longer service life, longer backup times, lower weight and higher safety than UPSs with lead-acid batteries or other LiFePO4 batteries. The judges also appreciated that the SSG UPS lowers total cost of ownership (TCO) by dramatically reducing costly battery replacements and downtime.

The publication’s subscribers will vote online for the winner at the CSE website beginning today. Voting closes on June 29, 2018 and category winners will be notified on September 13, 2018.
